The course period varies from three to six months, depending on the research task. The landing date must be at least six weeks after the submission date. - They have completed at least their third year of a baccalaureate program OR concluded their baccalaureate (Bachelor’s program) or are seeking a post-baccalaureate (Master’s program). Presently registered KAUST researchers, KAUST Alumni, students in a Ph.D. course, or those who have achieved a Ph.D. are not qualified to partake.

Application
Candidates must present their expressions of interest (EOI) for the obtainable study subjects at the various departments and conclude the applications. The selection procedure often involves the following steps:
Step One: When all conditions have been presented, your complete request will be checked, and the faculty member may contact you for a Skype interview to discuss your education and study setting and to learn more about your appeal in the training.
Step Two: If you are assigned to proceed, you will receive an invitation to book a Skype interview with the Office of Admissions. During this interview, they will discuss your questions about life at KAUST and get to know you better.
Step Three: if you are accepted, you will get an email approval letter following the interview
