Qualification
- All countries are allowed to make an application for the CERN Students summer program.
- You are required to be a bachelor’s or master’s student in one of the areas of study, which include computing, applied physics, electricity, electronics, mathematics, mechanical and civil engineering, radiation protection, materials science, instrumentation, safety and environmental protection, ultra-high vacuum, surveying, or scientific communication.
- You must be in an administrative study area, such as translation, legal services, advanced secretarial work, accounting, librarianship, human resources, or logistics.
- Candidates are required to be above the age of 18 during application.
- You must remain enrolled as a student during this online studentship with CERN.
- Applicants are not required to have worked at CERN before with any other status CERN courses for more than three months.
- You have not been a Summer Student at CERN before.
- Candidates must have a good understanding of English and a good understanding of French as a benefit.
