Annually, some students and young experts from more than 100 countries participate as scholarship holders in the European Forum Alpbach. The Alpbach Foundation Scholarships are devoted to students, young experts, and changemakers and strive to allow them to attend the European Forum Alpbach Program.

The program will include many happenings and exercises, including scientific and artistic seminars and social and cultural exercises. It is a two-week course planned to start in the summer of 2024.

- The award is exclusively devoted to first-time scholarship candidates who have never attended the European Forum Alpbach onsite sessions as grant holders.
- This grant is available to every student and young adult worldwide, regardless of their country.
- Candidates are required to indicate evidence of English language skills equivalent to most miniature B2.
- You are required to be between the ages of 18 and 30 years during the request.
- Candidates from African nations are required to be between the ages of 18 / 35

Application
Applications for the course will be possible until 28 March 2024. The program webpage has a link where foreign candidates can fill out and present their requests.
Austrian nationals must apply through the Forum Alpbach Network Alumni Clubs. Candidates from Taiwan and China will also have a different application process.
Keep in mind that you are required to complete all the information needed in the online application form. Only requests through the online request form are approved. You will need to present accompanying documents as part of your request.
- You are required to present a letter of motivation responding to the questions below:
- What are your encouragements for participating in the EFA23?
- Clarify which trails you are interested in and how you will add to its discussions, views, notions, and understanding. Be as factual as you can and connect it to your setting.
- Candidates must present evidence of English language skills equivalent to a minimum B2.
- You must present your recent diplomas and results of records in English, French, or German.
- Attach a current curriculum vitae and letter of motivation.
