Latvian Government Scholarship For International Students In Latvia

Make an application for the 2024 Latvian Government Scholarship for international students to learn in Latvia. The grants are under the State Education Development Agency (SEDA; VIAA in Latvian). The State Education Development Agency is a direct government organization associated with the Ministry of Education and Science.

Latvian Government Scholarships are earmarked for candidates who desire to seek undergraduate, master, or Ph.D. programs. These awards are obtainable to international students intending to make an application for the educational session of 2024/2025.

  • There is a feasibility for the host higher education school to offer the grant holder a space in a student’s hostel or guesthouse.

Qualification

  • Candidates must be citizens from nations that have signed a consensus with Latvia or provide grants for Latvian nationals.
  • Even though the language of instruction at Latvian higher schools is primarily Latvian, there are so many study courses provided in English, and these courses in English are not free. Students who select English programs may use the grant to protect the program expenses.
  • You will be needed to satisfy specific English language or other language prerequisites.
  • Candidates for bachelor’s courses must have concluded at least one educational year of studies.
