The McCain Global Leaders Program assists character-driven leaders representing Senator John McCain’s heritage of administering a cause higher than oneself. Systemized as a one-year fellowship and with solid learning skills, every cohort will have to work with a diverse team of 25 leaders from all over the world who are employed in the Colosseum to improve democracy, liberties, and human rights. The program is formed to enhance each leader’s confidential and occupational leadership journey and effect by giving training, resources, and entries to essential provincial and worldwide networks to prepare today’s leaders to encounter the challenges of tomorrow.
The program is one year long, starting in June 2024 and ending in May 2025. Partakers are anticipated to partake in every virtual and in-person program for the entire duration. Global Theme For 2024: Defending Democracy

Program Schedule For McCain Global Leaders Program 2024

The McCain Leadership Curriculum:

The Changemaker Tour (Host Nation in Every Province)
The next in-person event of the program assembles each provincial cohort and constituents of the Global AdivisoryCouncil for five-day provincial study journeys that offer disclosure to the world theme of upholding democracy in a host nation and paying attention to establishing targeted regional links and networks while providing the prospect to talk about answers and notions associated to the theme. Spring 2025
The Legacy Experience (Vietnam)
The capstone program of the 10-month travel program will assemble all leaders in a nation of importance to Senator McCain’s leadership sojourn. The Leadership Experience will occur in Vietnam, and the journey and connection between Senator McCain and the Vietnamese people will be assessed. Eligibility Requirement
Candidates must be mid to senior career specialists, have working skills in English, and be involved in working on the concentrated issue regions of the program. Desiring McCain Global Leaders must work in a leadership position in their areas, be involved in the arena, and seek to legislate modification in their home nation. Candidates must be devoted to administering a cause higher than oneself and partake wholly in virtual involvements, in-person programs, and post-program alums exercises. Specific Age Requirements And Consideration of Senior And Mid-career

Expectation of an MGL For The Program Duration
McCain’s Global program must be available during every program module, in-person or online. The program involves about 25 days of in-person programming circulated over three various trip experiences, together with a monthly 6- to 8-hour time devotion for online programs.
